So yesterday I kind of promised myself that I would try and write something every day in August (we’ll disregard the 1st and 2nd) to get my brain going again and get myself back into the groove of writing. I’m going to write about anything that comes to mind, might be short might be long, might be inspired by a song/tv show/something I’ve heard on the tube, might not be.
Today I’m writing about this song.
Frank Turner has been talking about a new hardcore band for a while now, and today the world was finally given its first insight into what they’ve been working on these past months. I love Frank Turner’s solo work, don’t get me wrong, it sometimes pains me how much I love some of those songs, but hearing him screaming again makes me a very happy man. It’s an understatement to say that Million Dead were a hugely important band for me, so hearing him doing similar music again is really something special.
I cannot wait to see this band live.
